We suggest students work in pairs. Homeschool students can work on their own.
Each pair of students will build a mini-marshmallow and toothpick tower. Separate your cups or bowls into two equal piles. Place about 30 mini-marshmallows into each of the cups in one pile. Place about 40 toothpicks into each cup in the other pile.
We suggest organizing supplies beforehand for easier distribution. Students will need their worksheet for the first discussion break:
